Senior Applications Service Manager

Visit arcfield.com for more details. Responsibilities Arcfield is seeking an Application Services Manager who will be a key contributor in our IT management team. You will work closely with each of the system business owners of each system and align with their business goals and objectives. You will be responsible for managing the systems through standard software lifecycle development, security configuration, maintenance support and other services related to the software applications across the organization. Supervisory Responsibilities: Oversees the schedules and projects assigned to application services members. Assist in hiring and training of other members of the application services team. Duties/Responsibilities: Directs, oversees, and assists with the selection, implementation, and installation of software applications used by the organization. Provides guidance and consultation on applications and related services to other departments, which may include reviewing system documentation, feasibility, design, testing, and implementation. Assess business requirements and make recommendations for new applications, enhancements to existing applications, customizations, and/or integrations that satisfy business requirements and facilitate a larger information systems (IS) strategy. Works closely with business counterparts to understand business objectives and priorities and identify software application needs. Coordinates the resources to perform system administration, application development, database management, and additional support services across several software applications. Administers users, rights management, and access controls for various cloud-based business systems. Assist in developing the IS business continuity plans. Ensures compliance with applicable company, state, and federal laws, statutes, and regulations, as appropriate. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Skills/Abilities: Experience with Cloud-based applications. Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication skills. Demonstrate ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Mastery one or more of the following software solutions, Salesforce, SIMS, or Technomile. Thorough understanding of internet/intranet, including experience with specific network environments and protocols in use at the organization. Understands change and configuration management in the context of a software development team. Ability to produce and maintain necessary documentation. Experience managing teams over a variety of projects. Ability to meet deadlines and project milestones. Education and Experience: BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5-7 Bachelor’s degree in IS, Engineering, Computing, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred. Substantial experience in IS, with successful experience managing major, complex applications development projects. Minimum 7 years' experience supporting Enterprise Applications Minimum 2 years' experience managing an applications or development team Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
