About this role

A boutique architectural and interiors studio based in Sydney, with high-end Residential projects is looking for an Architect to join the team. They pride themselves on delivering innovative and functional design solutions, cultivated through strong client collaboration. You can expect to enjoy working closely with artists, consultants, trades, and suppliers, refining projects to exceed expectations.

You will take the lead on projects once the design is established, guiding them through DA, consultant coordination, and site stages with minimal supervision. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead projects from early design stage through to completion, ensuring high standards of communication and coordination Collaborate with studio directors, maintaining a design-focused approach while managing documentation and coordination tasks Engage with clients, consultants, and tradespeople to facilitate smooth project progression Contribute your design eye while benefiting from the mentorship of experienced leaders Work with younger team members and provide mentoring and guidance

Skills and Experience:

Exceptional spoken and written communication skills Ability to work effectively with clients and gain their trust  Proficiency in Revit Experience in private residential projects  Experience in all aspects of high end houses including interiors, joinery and furniture selection Registration is not critical, but an architectural background is essential Strong leadership capabilities to guide projects with minimal oversight A collaborative personality that fits well in a small team environment
