Senior Architect (Hybrid) Cognizant’s Digital Engineering

Our practice is seeking a highly qualified senior Architect with experience in developing and building impactful, scalable, enterprise applications.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until February 8th, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $102,000 - $158,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

Responsibilities Lead the design and architecture of sophisticated web applications using PowerShell scripting Secure Coding for Hapi.JS D3JS Java scripting and React JS. Be responsible for the development and implementation of secure coding practices to ensure the integrity and security of applications. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams ensuring standard methodologies are followed. Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and performance. Create and update user documentation for architecture and design decisions. Ensure applications are optimized for performance scalability and maintainability. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the team. Fix and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner. Participate in the full software development lifecycle from concept to deployment. Work closely with team members to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies. Ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget meeting the highest quality standards. Qualifications Possess extensive experience in PowerShell scripting demonstrating the ability to automate and streamline processes efficiently. Have a strong background in Secure Coding for Hapi.JS ensuring applications are built with security as a top priority. Show strength in D3JS with the ability to create dynamic and interactive data visualizations. Exhibit expertise in Java scripting showcasing the ability to develop robust and efficient code. Show advanced knowledge of React JS with experience in building responsive and user-friendly web applications. Hold a degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field or have equivalent practical experience. Have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively. Possess strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model. Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Show a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Have experience working in an Agile development environment. Be meticulous and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively. Exhibit a passion for technology and a desire to make a positive impact on society through innovative solutions.
