Senior Architectural Project Manager/Designer (Education)

Role description:

Join our team as a Senior Project Manager/Designer specializing in K-14 education projects. We're seeking motivated individuals with 15-20 years of experience who thrive on challenges and excel in communication. As a successful candidate, you'll be involved in all project phases, leading the design team, and collaborating with consultants, contractors, and clients. Role accountabilities:

Partner with the studio manager to establish a planning and design vision Lead the design for multiple education projects Present and sell design solutions at client meetings and public hearings Communicate openly, embrace mentorship and nurture the next generation of designers Lead the process to coordinate the opportunity response (example: RFP), prepares proposals, submissions and client presentations Plans, coordinates, and manages the project process for projects Coordinate the design, construction and management of projects, including liaising with clients, agencies - such as DSA, CDE, etc., contractors, suppliers and consultants Apply knowledge of building codes and zoning bylaws

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture 15+ years of Architecture experience including leading design efforts 10+ years' experience as a Project Architect for K-14 education work  Experience on agency reviews such as DSA, local jurisdictions, etc. Licensed Architect preferred LEED accreditation preferred Familiarity with REVIT, SketchUp, Photoshop, Miro, & Illustrator  Strong verbal and written communication Organized, detail-oriented and self-starter

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision, EAP,  401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program and optional benefits including wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement.  We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $103,000.00 - $154,500.00. 

Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
