Job Responsibilities: What you will do

Manage and troubleshoot for many systems in two very different environment. The incumbent is the recognized subject matter expert on iSeries AS400 Administration.

Evaluate performance of databases and responds to issues that arise related to databases.Troubleshoot database issues.Manage database objects ��� schemas, views, tables, stored procedures and triggers.Support developers and QA by maintaining test environments and configuring databases to development specifications.Work with application development teams to develop data models that support business processes.Ensure changes adhere to best practices and are properly prioritized and scheduled.Review all proposed DB changes proposed by design and development.Create technical support documentation for databases.Support existing applications and services by upgrading software, troubleshooting problems, implementing changes, configuring solutions, and verifying functionality.Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.

Qualifications: What you need to bring

6+ years of AS400 administration experience required.Previous experience managing multiple systems required.Previous change control management experience required.Bachelor's in IT or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.Must possess exceptional problem-solving skills.Must be proficient with iSeries.Must possess excellent research abilities.Must be possess exceptional communication skills.

Pay Range: $108,000.00 - $166,000.00 Annual
