Senior Assembly Associate

What Assembly contributes to Cardinal Health

Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production to put together component parts to make assemblies, sub-assemblies or completed units, using standard operating procedures. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.

Responsibilities

Supports the training and skills improvement of new and existing employeesMaintain and update training records and certifications for all employeesAct as a site champion for all training questions and issues from associates related to the Inbound or Outbound operationsRegularly solicit feedback on opportunities to improve training programsRetain appropriate PIT licenses and certifications related to the jobDevelop and execute action plans to improve Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) related to the effectiveness of the training program

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required3-5 years related work experience and/or training required

Applies knowledge and company policies to complete a variety of tasksDemonstrates a working knowledge of jobs outside area of responsibilitymaintains appropriate licenses, training and certificationsWorks on assignments that are moderately difficult requiring judgment in resolving issuesMay assist in recommendation of processes on new assignmentsAdheres to all quality guidelinesWorks with limited supervision. Work occasionally involves review of output by work lead or supervisorMay provide general guidance or technical assistance to less experienced team memberseDHR experienced required (High Level)PRMS experienced required (High Level)

Anticipated hourly range: $15.50 per hour - $22.00 per hour
