Job Description
The Washington Post is seeking a Senior Editor to join its Opinion Department. This Senior Editor will be responsible for working with staff columnists who cover these beats – as well as developing subject-specific op-ed articles and prospecting for new writers. As a leader in the department, this editor will also play a role in developing creative strategies for effective publishing. This role reports to Mary Duenwald, deputy opinion editor.

The salary range for this position is:
149,900.00 - 278,300.00 USD AnnualThe actual salary within this range will depend on individual skills, experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements. This position may be eligible for a bonus or incentive program, and a member of the Talent Acquisition team will discuss bonus payment terms and conditions during the interview process.
