This position will function as an Engineer II that will serve as the Senior Assistant Resident Engineer. This position will manage the administration of highway construction contracts, supervise contract construction work, establish engineering controls for the contractor, and inspect construction work. Position will be responsible for contract administration of all types of construction projects including Central and Division Let contracts. Position requires proficiency in plan reading, highway engineering calculations, and familiarity in the operations of survey instruments. Other duties include the preparation of monthly estimates, final estimates, and other recordkeeping required during the life of a contract construction project.
