Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) at Neuberger Berman plays a critical role in providing strategic financial partnership and decision support to key stakeholders, including the firm’s senior leadership, Operating Committee members, investment team leadership and client coverage leadership. The team also supports the employee equity owners and external stakeholders, such as ratings agencies and senior note investors.
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Corporate (Management Company) FP&A team, focusing on budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, financial analysis, capital planning, and ad-hoc modeling to support key strategic decisions. In addition, the role will also involve enhancing tools for analytics, reporting, and automation through process enhancements and new technology adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead capital planning modeling to support CFO and senior leader decision making on capital deployment, excess cash flow forecasting, and capital structure considerations
Model firmwide lifetime carried interest projections and participate in regular reviews with senior investments professionals in the alternatives business
Prepare and own presentations to various key stakeholders, including the Board of Directors, Audit Committee, employee equity owners, Partnership and Operating Committees and rating agencies
Contribute to firm-wide budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analytics processes
Develop financial models to support ad-hoc strategic finance initiatives (e.g. new product launches, new strategic partnerships, and other corporate development adjacent activities)
Provide ad hoc support for FP&A projects
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related business field
4-6 years of planning/financial modeling experience
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including building dynamic financial models) and PowerPoint (including building Board-ready presentation books) required
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal); ability to communicate clearly to senior management and other key stakeholders
Ability to work independently and as part of a team; a highly motivated self-starter
Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
Strong ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Knowledge of general ledger and management reporting systems such as SAP or OneStream a plus

Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $95,000-$130,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, business sector, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, market benchmarking data, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package.
