Senior Associate, Marketing Manager
About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 10 The Impact: As S&P Global Ratings’ Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and delivering marketing strategies, tactical goals, and metrics to support our business’ growth strategy and strategic Marketing objectives. You will partner with sales, relationship management, product, market outreach, and analytical teams to understand business objectives, create and deliver marketing plans that leverage the full suite of marketing channels to achieve business objective. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of B2B marketing experience or a related field, and experience in financial services/capital markets is preferred. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to conduct and analyze marketing analytics; craft clear, compelling messaging for complex products aimed at a sophisticated client base; and create/deliver cross-channel campaigns and engagement tactics that drive customer acquisition and retention. Responsibilities: · Function as a strategic partner to sales, relationship management, product, market outreach, analytical teams to develop annual marketing plans and produce marketing collateral and campaign assets aligned to the business’ growth strategy. · Maintain a consistent understanding of S&P Global Ratings’ product suites and the competitive landscape to create persona-based marketing campaigns, to engage with and influence capital market participants: investors, corporate issuers, intermediaries and more. · Work with Database and Metrics lead to create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies. · Analyze customer insights, capital market trends and analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies, increase conversions, and generate qualified leads. · Plan and deliver the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration. Leverage thought leadership content to generate awareness and demand for S&P Global Ratings products. · Conceptualize and execute on multi-channel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels. · Communicate ideas, marketing programs, strategies, and final deliverables to internal stakeholders. · Seek new ways and marketing tactics to improve key marketing metrics such as campaign response rates, quality of leads, thought leadership awareness, new product/service launch and adoption, and brand awareness building. · Keep on the forefront of an evolving capital markets environment. · Support other marketing campaigns/activities as needed. Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates) S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $70,817 to $144,796. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. Qualifications · Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. · 3-5 years in a marketing or communications role or similar experience with B2B financial services or capital markets experience. · Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build collaborative partnerships with cross-functional teams. · Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM tools. (Pardot preferred but not necessary.) · Demonstrated ability to utilize market research and data to drive actionable insights to inform marketing strategy and improve the customer experience. · Experience with digital and offline media. Experience developing initiatives that move the needle on key perception metrics. · Strong ability to manage ambiguity, and work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced dynamic environment. · Strong problem-solving ability, including metrics-driven thinking. · Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills.
