Cvent’s Meetings & Events team is seeking a Meeting & Event Planner to help deliver virtual, in-person and hybrid, internal corporate programs as well as contribute to our customer facing events and conferences. The successful candidate for this position must have proven ability to manage virtual, in-person, and hybrid events, manage a high volume of concurrent projects and programs in a fast-paced environment, as well as possess highly effective communication skills. In This Role, You Will: Internal Corporate Events Maintain and manage the North America Internal Corporate Events Roadmap, inclusive of all event types and formats with oversight from M&E Leadership Assist with the delegation & execution of internal company events (i.e., social and incentive programs, department initiatives and in-week meetings, executive retreats, Companywide Annual Kick-Off, etc.) Oversee event technology logistics and end-to-end Cvent Event Management including event and registration builds, attendee reporting, onsite staffing and tech management, and pre/post-event evaluations Manage all event logistics including but not limited to hotel spec sheets, room block management, staff timelines, food & beverage coordination, etc. Source new venues and vendors, along with maintaining existing vendor relationships Function as project manager by coordinating stakeholder meetings, developing workback timelines and deadlines, monitoring spend tracking while identifying opportunities for efficiencies and cost savings Customer Programs & Marquee Events & Conference (In-person, Virtual, and Hybrid Formats) Lead the planning of key elements of marquee event programs including but not limited to onsite and virtual meeting management, program staffing, food and beverage management, etc. Strategic Initiatives Manage and support visa management processes and spend reconciliation Maintain venue and vendor partnerships that fall out of scope for specific event-based relationships Regularly facilitate alignment meetings across all personnel supporting and/or contributing to event-related activities across the organization Here's What You Need: Bachelor’s Degree 2+ years of current relevant meeting and event management experience required Self-motivated individual proficient in the virtual event landscape, aware of current trends, vendors and best practices for delivering in-person, virtual and hybrid events Excellent written and verbal communication skills Contract execution & negotiation skills with experience measuring program impact against success metrics Demonstrated team player with ‘roll up your sleeves’ attitude and record of impact in high-intensity, evolving, team-based environments Proven experience partnering with/supporting and representing support/represent cross-functional teams across levels, geographies, and culture Experience with Cvent Event Management, Cvent Virtual and Sourcing Solutions, MS Office Suite, Zoom, Slack, Workday, Concur and Salesforce a plus
