Job Description:
The Senior Associate, Pricing Financial Analyst, is responsible for developing and evaluating product pricing in support of customer requirements. This involves analyzing past quote and sales history, market trends, evaluating competitor pricing, and working closely with various teams within the company to set prices that align with our customers' expectations and our business goals. The analyst plays a key role in maintaining the balance between profitability and customer satisfaction through careful financial analysis and strategic planning. The products we offer include Night Vision Goggles, Aiming Lasers, Laser Range Finders available to the US defense industry, allies and commercial customers.
Essential Functions:
+ Responsible for the financial functions associated with the bid and proposal business acquisition process.
+ Develop product pricing in support of critical customer requirements.
+ Source and evaluate cost data to develop sound Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for all elements of cost including Labor, Material, Other Direct Costs (ODC), etc.
+ Work with cross-functional teams to implement pricing strategies.
+ Prepare and present cost or pricing data and analysis to cross-functional peers and functional management.
+ Justify price positions internally and externally leveraging sales history, quote/bid history, and value proposition.
+ Support internal and external audits.
+ Support Microsoft CRM administration.
+ Actively participate in process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of prior related finance experience or Graduate Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related finance experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
+ Experience in pricing, financial analysis, or a similar role.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
+ Familiarity with Cognos, Costpoint and Sharepoint.
+ Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills.
+ Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
+ Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
+ Knowledge of L3Harris products and market preferred.
