The Content and Social Marketing team is the always-on voice of DoorDash. About the Role

We are seeking an energetic and highly engaged Senior Associate to help build the DoorDash community on social media. You will work closely with an ambitious group of social media marketers to inspire and disrupt consumers feed through tactics that keep the brand at the center of conversation. In this role, you will unlock consumer listening insights and extend our highest visibility marketing efforts across multiple business priorities.

You will report to the Head of Brand Social within the Marketing organization.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will… Build the DoorDash community social media planning and execution as a key driver in engagement on campaign go-to-market plans. Partner with highly awarded internal and external media and creative agency partners to conceive and produce innovative and effective social media strategies and tactics. Work with analytics teams to set and track social listening on the DoorDash brand to inform disruptive tactics Drive a strategy that increases visibility and engagement on social through establishing the brand voice We’re excited about you because… You are an expert in the world of community management, with 5+ years experience in social media roles for major brands. You understand the nuances of how popular social media platforms work — from their products and features, ad formats, to their unique user cultures. You stay current with channel best practices and take a curious and experimental approach to emerging platforms, features, and trends.  You have a track record of breakthrough community management experience, either agency- or client-side, for major consumer brands   You thrive in complex and fast-moving situations that are not bound to a set of rules You can demonstrate with data what social media success looks like. You have deep knowledge of native and third-party social media analytics tools, and can extract and interpret performance results against business goals. You are driven toward excellence, passionate about creativity, and excited to push the horizons of how social media shapes culture.

Compensation

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.  Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Washington. $83,000—$122,000 USDAbout DoorDash
