Job Description:
The Aerojet Rocketdyne (AR) segment is seeking a detail-oriented and diligent Trade Compliance Specialist to join our team. This role is integral to maintaining the segment's adherence to trade compliance regulations and ensuring the smooth execution of import/export activities.
Essential Functions:
Support AR Redmond Empowered Official (EO) in managing trade compliance responsibilities including:
Coordinating and facilitating AR Segment product jurisdiction/classification reviews/determinations with EO and Technology Specialist (TS).Import/export/shipment activity support such as documentation preparation and compliance reviews.Conducting Restricted Party Screening (RPS), including coordinating the resolution of discrepancies matches or potential matches (‘hits’)) with EO, Segment Director and GTG, as applicable prior to the continuation of the business transaction.Preparing ITAR / EAR authorization applications and managing the resulting ITAR and EAR authorizations, including records maintenance in EASE tool, under the guidance of the EO.Support of functional, as well as, authorization specific training and coordinating with EO to maintain auditable training completion records.Participation in investigations, as applicable, and monitoring closure of associated corrective actions under the guidance of the EO.Approving the use of license exemptions and exceptions under oversight of the EO.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado State, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont and New York State is $54,000-$100,000. For California, Seattle, Washington D.C., Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area, the city of Denver, Washington State and New York City, the salary range for this role is $61,500-$114,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
