About the Team :

Pearson’s Data Operations, part of the HE Data team, is a global function that drives performance improvements and stakeholder engagement through a centralized operating model. Based in Noida, our team supports Pearson globally, ensuring that data is valid, accurate, compliant, and complete. As content rapidly expands across emerging digital platforms, we enable scalability and cost containment while collaborating with product teams and suppliers worldwide.

About the Position :

We are looking for a Data Operations Specialist to manage and ensure the accuracy of data across Pearson’s global systems. You will play a crucial role in maintaining data integrity, working closely with global teams, and adapting to the ever-changing needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage data within Pearson's Global Application (Oracle) platform.

Ensure data accuracy and compliance with geographical rules (e.g., UK, US, Canada, Australia, Asia).

Follow up rigorously with business teams to manage data processes.

Highlight recurring data inaccuracies and bring them to management's attention.

Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, managers, and peers to resolve issues.

Learn and adapt processes to meet specific information requests.

Document and communicate needed actions to management, identifying and addressing irregularities.

About You:

Core Technical/Functional Skills :

Experience in data operations (preferably with Oracle).

Proficiency in MS Office/MS Excel.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Team player with the ability to work effectively across different teams.

Education & Qualifications :

Essential: Post-graduate degree in any discipline or a professional qualification.

Desirable: Experience managing business systems and portals.

Previous Experience :

Essential: 2-3 years of experience in data management.

Desirable: Experience in a publishing company.

Core Behavioral Competencies :

Collaborative team player with a flexible attitude.

Strong personnel management skills with an understanding of business processes.

Ability to work across multiple time zones and adapt to international teams.

Confident, enthusiastic, and results-driven.
