Summary:

The Private Wealth Alternative Investment Support Team is responsible for Processing and Booking Capital Calls/Distribution, Reconciliations of Alternative Investments to Custodian and Fund Admins; Centralization of Sub Document Subscription and field phone/email inquiries from Internal and External Teams.  This role supports a rapidly evolving business working closely with internal and external parties to resolve all issues in a timely manner.  This individual should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.  The ideal candidate for this role is expected to understand portfolio accounting and Alternative Investments (Private Equity and/or Hedge Funds).

Responsibilities:

Facilitate Capital Calls for Private Wealth Management Investors and confirm distribution were received into the Investors AccountDaily reconciliation of Alternative Investments to custodian and Fund Admins.Review exception reports and work with to resolve the exception.Monitor mailbox to address Client Admins questions regarding Alternative InvestmentsWork closely with Technology and Investor Relations to ensure receipt of information from Fund Admins regarding Alternative InvestmentsOversee valuation updates in internal accounting system regarding Third Party Alternative InvestmentsField phone/email inquiries from internal Wealth Management and Portfolio Management teams questioning internal Portfolio Accounting Alternative Investments records.Drive process improvements and system enhancements.Perform Ad hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

7+ years of relevant professional experience (e.g., finance, accounting, operations, investment banking, private equity)General product knowledge of Alternative Investments (Private Equity and/or Hedge Funds)Proficient in Excel, including the use of pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and IF/THEN statements.Ability to prioritize workload based on evolving needs and circumstances and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Remarkable attention to detailStrong judgment, maturity, and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate and present ideas effectively both orally and in written form.Initiative and creativity in approach to problem-solving and the ability to be resourceful.Exhibits strong dedication to the job and takes ownership of deliverables.Intellectual curiosity and the ability to learn quickly.

Compensation Details

The salary range for this role is $80,000-$120,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, business sector, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, market benchmarking data, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package.
