What the day will look like
+ Work on various corporate governance projects, including, but not limited to, share request modeling, pay ratio analysis, pay for performance calculation, dilution and run rate equity benchmarking, and ESG data research.
+ Review equity compensation plans for public companies.
+ Investigate and analyze competitive corporate governance and compensation practices specific to an industry sector.
+ Help the team create compensation and financial databases as needed and/or maintain existing databases.
+ Contribute to client deliverables by managing and checking own work product and the work product of others.
+ Actively participate in the methodology formulation for new and ad hoc projects.
+ Contribute to process improvement initiatives and help develop, maintain, and enhance methodologies for existing and new projects.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
+ Degree in related disciplines (Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance, and Statistics) is preferred
+ Ideally with 1-2 years of relevant experience in corporate governance, research, or consulting
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
+ Ability to quickly grasp new concepts, theories, and processes
+ Excellent oral and written English communication skills, as well as exceptional reading comprehension abilities
+ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and communicate with local and international counterparts
+ Proficiency in MS Office, especially on Excel and PowerPoint
+ Previous work experience in data collection and analysis, corporate governance and executive compensation consulting, and business research is advantageous
+ Familiarity with proxy advisory guidelines and their voting policies is a definite advantage
