This role involves collaborating with cross functional teams, leveraging technology, and implementing best practices to streamline workflows, enhance customer experience, and achieve business objectives. The Senior Associate Global Governance defines, develops, documents, tests and optimizes less complex end-to-end processes that support the business. This person will contribute to all aspects of Global Governance. The complexity of change on a global scale is vast and will require the ability to learn new software the processes or procedures will be housed for the onsite operations staff to access, the governance overlaps with the use of various software, their abilities, and decisions on which software should be the global standard. **What you'll be doing** **ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES** + Advises relevant stakeholders in the business on improvement options of existing end-to-end business processes. + Works under guidance to apply business process redesign methodology to develop effective solutions to business problems. + Supports with proactively identifying business and/or operational process improvements through data analysis to ensure constructive suggestions for change. + May support with using information gathered from incidents raised by the operation to ensure the identification of process improvements. + Supports with identifying potential cross-functional synergies and improvements that will ensure optimal performance within the assigned area of responsibility. + Works under guidance to conduct impact assessments of process gaps by analyzing grey areas not clearly defined by established standards and ensuring that these are mapped during the design process. + Facilitates the design / re-design of less complex business processes including clarifying, identifying issues and facilitating changes to attain the highest levels of client service, efficiency, control and compliance. + Supports with standardizing, maintaining, and documenting new or improved processes based on findings and analysis. + Engages with a variety of stakeholders and may facilitate workshops to generate, review and update the new improved processes. + Supports with the preparation of detailed process diagrams and the accompanying documentation in terms of process design. + Assists with the implementation and delivery of internal and external projects related to business process improvement, against a predetermined project plan. + Proactively looks for new opportunities to learn about process mapping and modelling. + Performs any other related task as required. **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES** + Developing analytical skills with the ability to dissect complex business processes, identify patterns, and propose improvements. + Good communication skills to articulate complex process flows to business stakeholders. + Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify root causes and develop effective solutions. + Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting process workflows and procedures. + Collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. + Adaptability and openness to change, especially in dynamic and evolving environments. + Developing proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques. + Project management skills to coordinate and implement process improvement initiatives. + Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. + Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment. + Knowledge of workflow and process control software. + Developing ability to analyze and understand process mapping as a method of visualizing an ongoing process. + Knowledge on processes and up and downstream impact of process steps. \#GlobalDataCentersCareers #LI-PD1 **EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE** + BS/BA required in related field. + 5 years, 3 of which should be in a corporate setting. **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS** + Perform work during US business hours and global time zones, when needed. + Ability to communicate effectively with verbal, visual and listening skills. + Close visual work on multiple computer screens. + Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate computer keyboard, mouse, and other technical instruments. + Ability to travel on a plane, train, car, taxi and other forms of traveling various locations. + Remain stationary for long periods of time, while on a computer. **WORK CONDITIONS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS** + This role is expected to be remote with an occasional need to be on-site in a shared space. + Exposure to varying temperatures and loud noises when inside a Data Center. + Travel required upon request. 25% to 50% possible. + Perform work from a remote location with stable internet connection. + Required video conferencing Monday-Friday. + Passport or the ability to obtain one. This is a remote position that requires reliable internet connection and electricity. A monthly stipend is provided to cover expenses associated with working remotely and use of a personal mobile device, if applicable. NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. offers competitive compensation based on experience, education, and location. Base salary for this position is $74,400 - $106,000. All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance.
