As a Senior Associate Global Network Engineer, you will bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an award-winning culture. On the Global Network Engineering team reporting to the Senior Manager Global Network Engineering, you will support projects including managing global Meraki network worldwide and engineering of Hilton networks supporting all corporate offices and hotel locations.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
\nYour role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
\nWhat your day-to-day will be like:
\n\nHandle the network design and architecture of Hilton’s corporate and hotel networks while working with network support vendors and OEMs to implement designs and meet SLAs\nUpdate network technical standards and strategic technical roadmaps for both corporate and hotel Local Area Networks\nImplement new network projects through initiation, architecture, requirements analysis, design, project management, and systems integration phases\nDevelop and test new configurations and network designs in our labs\nProficiency in using Meraki APIs for network automation and scripting\nMaintain and update network documentation, ensuring all configurations, changes, and procedures are well-documented.\nEnsure network security best practices are followed, performing regular audits and updates to keep systems compliant with industry standards\n\nHow you will collaborate with others:
\n\nResponsible for all aspects of network engineering policies and operations, including Develop operation metrics for all elements of the corporate environment and actively lead vendor and network performance monitoring\nAct as the backup role working within the LAN/WAN and Security team\n\nWhat projects you will take ownership of:
\n\nBe a subject matter expert on Meraki SDWAN with deployment experience.\nGeneral Network programmability (Python, scripting, and RESTful API)\nDevelop and implement Cisco/Meraki network policies to optimize network performance across corporate and hotel locations \n\nWHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
\nYou have these minimum qualifications:
\n\nThree (3) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field.\nTwo (2) years of experience automating common network functions in Python or an equivalent scripting language and working with Meraki API.\nIn-depth understanding of networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, routing, switching, firewalls, and VPN technologies.\nProven troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve global multi-site network connectivity issues.\nEnterprise routing/switching, with BGP, OSPF, Ethernet, MPLS, VPN, and 802.11x technologies with mostly Cisco routers, Cisco/Meraki switches, and Cisco firewalls.\nHands-on Meraki experience, including all MX, MS, and MR hardware and their various configurations.\nHands-on experience with designing networks using industry standards and best-practice design standards.\nCCNA certification required\nThis is a hybrid role and would require to be near one of our three US office locations (McLean, Dallas, Memphis).\nTravel up to 10%\n\nIt would be useful if you have:
\n\nBachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus six (6)+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience \nFive (5)+ years of professional work experience in Technology or related field\nFour (4)+ years of experience in Enterprise Network Engineering\nAny additional Cisco/Meraki certifications: CCNP, CCSP, CMNO, CMNA, etc.\nKnowledge of AWS cloud networking and integrations and AWS certifications.\nPrevious experience in a large-scale, multi-site enterprise environment.\n\n\n\nWHAT IT IS LIKE WORKING FOR HILTON
