Deliver accurate and timely work product within deliverable timelinesPrepare work paper files for accuracy and completeness, including capital activity, income and expense accruals and investment activityUpdate distribution waterfall (carried interest) modelsPrepare management fee calculations and supporting schedulesReview all transaction documentation and supporting files, and understand the features of the investment transactions, accruals, etc.Perform reconciliations, process journal entries and cash balancesSupport year-end audit process, in collaboration with the team, client and auditorsActively interact with clients and counter-parties including legal counsels, auditors and tax advisors to meet key deadlinesAnalytical review of daily and monthly resultsWhat You Will Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Mathematics, or related field; CPA and/or MBA is a plus2+ years’ experience in Accounting; a focus on alternative investments, Private Equity/Real Assets experience or Hedge Funds, is a plusKnowledge required of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other comprehensive accounting concepts; knowledge on investment partnerships is a plusExperience preparing and reviewing general ledgers, work papers and financial statementsDeadline-oriented with strong attention to detail with the ability to complete assigned tasks independentlyAbility to work independently and as part of a team successfullyExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organizationProficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with advanced Excel skills requiredAudit experience is a plusThank you for your interest in SS&C!
