In this vital role you will serve as a key liaison between software engineers and business stakeholders. Your primary role is to capture, analyze, and document technical requirements while ensuring they align with the overall business goals. You will support the software development lifecycle by translating business needs into clear technical specifications. This role requires a blend of business insight and technical understanding, enabling you to collaborate optimally with software engineers and other stakeholders. **Roles & Responsibilities:** + **Requirement Gathering & Documentation:** Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, define, and document business requirements. Translate these into clear and actionable technical specifications for the software engineering team. + **Technical Support for Engineers:** Work closely with the software engineering team to ensure they have a deep understanding of the requirements, addressing technical inquiries, and providing clarifications throughout the development process. + **Process Analysis & Improvement:** Evaluate current business processes and identify areas where technical solutions can drive improvements, improve efficiency, or reduce costs. Propose solutions that align with business and technical objectives. + **Create User Stories & Acceptance Criteria:** Develop detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for use by the development team. Ensure that stories are concise, well-defined, and actionable. + **Stakeholder Communication:** Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of project progress, risks, and challenges. Provide regular updates and capture feedback to ensure the solution aligns with business needs. + **Facilitate Requirement Workshops:** Lead and facilitate meetings with stakeholders and engineers to define project scope, clarify expectations, and gain vital technical information for development. + **Support Testing & Quality Assurance:** Work closely with the testing team to ensure that all requirements are met during the testing phase. Assist in the development of test plans and scenarios to validate that solutions meet business requirements. + **Data Analysis & Reporting:** Perform data analysis as needed to support decision-making processes. Generate reports or dashboards that supervise project metrics, progress, and KPIs. + **Technical Feasibility Assessments:** Partner with engineers to assess the feasibility of new features and solutions. Understand technical constraints and dependencies to ensure that proposed solutions are viable. + **Continuous Learning:** Stay up to date with the newest technologies, industry trends, and standard methodologies in business analysis and technical project management. **What we expect of you** We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. **Basic Qualifications:** + Master’s degree and 1 to 3 years of Computer Science, IT or related field experience OR + Bachelor’s degree and 3 to 5 years of Computer Science, IT or related field experience OR + Diploma and 7 to 9 years of Computer Science, IT or related field experience **Must-Have Skills:** + Good ability to gather and document business and technical requirements. + Proficiency in creating user stories, technical documentation, and process flow diagrams. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. + Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. + Basic understanding of RESTful APIs, databases, and data structures. + Experience working with project management tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms. + Knowledge of version control systems like Git (to collaborate effectively with engineers). **Preferred Qualifications:** **Good-to-Have Skills:** + Solid understanding of SQL for data analysis and reporting. + Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. + Familiarity with business intelligence tools like Power BI, Tableau, or others. + Experience with process automation or workflow management tools. **Soft Skills:** + Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical collaborators. + Excellent social skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both technical and non-technical teams. + High degree of initiative and self-motivation, with strong organizational skills. + Ability to prioritize and handle various tasks effectively in a dynamic work environment. + Diligent, with a solid focus on quality and accuracy. **What you can expect of us** As we work to develop treatments that deal with others, we also work to care for your professional and personal growth and well-being.
