Role: Senior Associate Partner Building Surveyor
Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 + bonus
Location: SE London (3 days a week)
We are currently searching on behalf of our client, a well-established multi-disciplined Construction Consultancy based in SE London for a Senior Associate Partner Building Surveyor.
Established in 1954 we are currently recruiting to supply our recent success on major frameworks within London and the South East of England.
They are looking for an experienced Senior Associate Building Surveyor to join the Building Surveying Team at their Head Office, to manage the successful growth and delivery of the Building Surveying team. They will be responsible for the day-to-day activities and output of the team reporting directly to the Partners of the practice at regular management meetings, on matters such as team performance, new opportunities and winning submissions.
They expect the right candidate to share the Partners ethos to deliver sustainable construction projects in both New Build and Retro fit format in order to deliver on our commitment to drive towards Net Zero Carbon in construction and meet commitments such as the RIBA 2030 challenge etc. They should also have good working knowledge of scheduling, specification writing, preparation of tender documentation and contracts and be able to undertake the contract administration and Employer’s Agent duties for a variety of projects in different sectors.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in building condition surveys, measured surveys, defect analysis and preparation of formal reports; submission of building regulations and planning applications. They will be required to assist with; appointing external consultants; setting budget forecasts; reviewing staff performance.
Experience of aids and adaptations, party wall matters, DDA audits, auto CAD proficient and CDM regulations would be an advantage.
