About the Job

Are you ready to shape the future of medicine? The race is on to speed up drug discovery and development to find answers for patients and their families. Your skills could be critical in helping our teams accelerate progress.

At Sanofi we are committed in our quest to be a world-class biologics research organization and are steadfast in our goal to bring next generation, transformative therapies to patients. Our global Large Molecule Research (LMR) organization is focused on antibodies, NANOBODY® molecules and synthorins™ as therapeutic modalities. Our platform enables and partners closely with other research platforms and Sanofi’s therapeutic areas (Immunology & Inflammation, Immuno-Oncology, Rare & Neurologic Diseases) in the discovery and ultimate delivery of new candidate molecules.

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated scientist to join our dynamic team in the Molecular, Expression and Screening Technologies (MEST) Group within Sanofi’s North America R&D LMR organization. The MEST group uses cutting-edge automated systems for molecular biology, protein production and screening.  The automated platforms within the group allow for the standardization of highly complex protein engineering workflows thus enabling the rapid discovery of next generation multi-specific protein therapeutics.

We are an innovative global healthcare company with one purpose: to chase the miracles of science to improve people’s lives. The large numbers of recombinant plasmids generated on the automated molecular biology platform will be used for expressing proteins/antibodies (including multi-specific protein therapeutics) on the established automated protein expression and purification (PEPP) system.

This person must have strong molecular biology and automation skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to organize and present data.

The person in this role must have the ability to work in a collaborative team environment and to communicate effectively both within the immediate group and across groups.
