There are opportunities for continuing education, mentorship and collaboration, and career advancement within our team. **A caregiver in this position works Day/Evening/Night/Weekend, from 12:30pm-9:00pm.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Prepare athletes for practice and/or competition. + Evaluate, manage injuries, and determine whether a referral is necessary. + Maintain a medical file on each athlete and acts as a liaison for communication between the physician and the athlete. + Implement treatment and rehabilitation programs under the supervision of a physician. + Develop conditioning programs for injured and non-injured athletes. + Assist with the training of new Athletic Trainers, act as a technical resource as needed. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Bachelor's Degree and completion of an Athletic Training Program accredited by Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs. + Athletic Trainer Certification (ATC) certified by National Athletic Trainers Board of Certification (NATBOC). + State licensure as an Athletic Trainer (AT) if required by state law. + Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. + Four years of previous experience as an Athletic Trainer.
