Salary Mid-Point: $85,000 Location: Hamilton ON Job Type: Permanent Our client, a medium-sized accounting firm, is seeking a Senior Accounting Associate to join their team. In this role, the Senior Accounting Associate will be responsible for conducting reviews and audits for clients, preparing financial statements, Notice to Readers (NTRs) and complications on behalf of clients, providing recommendations for complex accounting issues, preparing and filing HST returns and responding to CRA tax inquiries.

The key responsibilities for this role include the following;  Prepare financial statements, compilations and Notice to Readers (NTRs) for clients Recommend accounting treatment for complex client issues Prepare and file HST returns and respond to CRA tax inquiries Assist in audit and review engagements, including fieldwork and documentation Work in a hybrid environment, with 2 days per week in-office or at client locations To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications: CPA designation or close to CPA designation Minimum 3 ears of experience at a public accounting firm Experience in preparing NTRs and compilations and executing reviews and audits Strong communication and interpersonal skills If you have the skills required to be successful in this role and you would like to learn more, please send your updated resume in MS Word format to Scott Allen at scottallen@ifgpr.com.
