In the role of Senior Aviation Engineer/Project Manager, we'll count on you to:Innovation
Prepare technical papers and presentations at national or regional aviation industry technical conferences discussing new technical or improved approaches to aviation related challenges.Technical Development
Become regionally (internally and externally) known as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in one or more aviation related specialty design criteria and become a senior aviation technical resource to Regional HDR officesIntermediate understanding of FAA, UFC, NFPA and applicable state and local requirements for multiple geographies / clientsPrepare scopes of work, effort estimates, schedules and workload projections for aviation projectsIntermediate understanding of all phases of aviation project developmentTechnical Talent Identification Career Journey
Recognize peers in aviation fields in other (external) organizations and identify potential talent to attract to the firmActively identify and attract aviation talent to the firm from competitors, regulatory agencies, etc.Have active leadership/participatory role in aviation staff development or training activities via Aviation working groupsMentor junior staff on technical issuesProcess Tool Application Development
Lead project document production, including coordination with technical and production staff, including subconsultantsDevelop, maintain and implement the use of new or improve existing methodologies or technical tools to improve technical design efficiency for use throughout Aviation MarketLead staff (including subconsultants) conducting field reviews to determine construction compliance with contract documentsOversee QA/QC processes by applying QMP proceduresMarketing Support
Assist in developing the technical strategy of the project pursuitLead the proposal technical writing effort of project pursuitsOversee preparation of technical write ups of completed projectsProvide editing / tailoring resume to project pursuitPerform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical EngineeringPreference given to local candidates

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions.
