Senior Avionics Integration Engineer
**Description** Applied Research Solutions is looking for a Senior Avionics Integration Engineer to support the Agile Combat Support (ACS) Directorate at WPAFB, AFB in the LAIRCM program. ARS employees are motivated through our industry competitive benefits package, our awards and recognition program, and personalized attention from ARS Senior Managers. **Responsibilities include:** + Support avionics subsystem definition, development, integration, verification (including ICD review), modeling/simulation, and testing activities. + Apply knowledge of CNS/ATM requirements, policies, and regulations to define system requirements and ensure compliance through testing and certification. + Assist in the development, review, and maintenance of technical documentation including system requirements, engineering change proposals (ECPs), and Interface Control Documents (ICDs). + Conduct analyses of avionics systems/subsystems, including system threat analysis, computer and laser systems, multiplex communications, and avionics interfaces. + Identify and assess areas of technical improvement or risk for Government consideration. + Provide engineering management support and coordinate across multiple functional organizations including security, logistics, test, public affairs, and facility teams. + Participate in Technology Insertion discussions, Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), and technical/programmatic reviews. + Perform failure analysis and support development of cost-effective solutions to enhance system reliability and maintainability. + Other duties as assigned **Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements:** + Must be a US Citizen + Must have an active Secret Clearance + Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD + OR, Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD All positions at Applied Research Solutions are subject to background investigations.
