About the team

Worldpay Cloud Data Platform team provides WorldPay  big Data capabilities including large scale data processing, analytics, fraud platforms, machine learning engineering, stream processing and data insights. Worldpay Cloud Data Platform team help maintain and advance cloud data platforms and services to build data products powering our business services and customers.  

What you’ll own

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications

Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) for high availability, scalability, and performance

Automate system provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment using tools such as Terraform, Helm Charts, and Kubernetes

Will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable workflows and orchestration systems using Astronomer 

Install, configure, and maintain Astronomer Airflow environments

Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, ensuring uptime and reliability

Collaborate with development teams to implement best practices for software development, testing, and deployment

Enhance security practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

Participate in code reviews, architecture design discussions, and contribute to technical documentation

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our DevOps practices

What you bring

Minimum of 6 years of experience in a DevOps role or similar

Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

Strong experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes

Hands-on experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef)

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell

Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar

Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Hands-on experience in administering Snowflake in AWS

Experience with AWS CLI and Networkin

Experience with architecting and maintaining high availability production systems

Experience with developing monitoring architecture and implementing monitoring agents, dashboards, escalations, and alerts

Knowledge of security controls for the public cloud (encryption of data in motion/rest and key management)

Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS alerting/monitoring tools

Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform

Worldpay is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $105,070.00 - $176,520.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
