Education and Experience

Active TS/SCI and CI polygraphBA/BS or equivalent experience10+ years of experience5+ years specifically operating and managing Azure infrastructure.Must possess the required DoD Directive 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification(Security+CE preferred)Experience provisioning and managing Azure infrastructure to include VMs, storage accounts, block storage, VNETs, Network Security Groups and custom roles/permissionsKnowledge of DNS services, DHCP, Azure Key Management & Microsoft SQL ServerExperience with managing Azure Active DirectoryExperience provisioning and managing Azure Virtual Desktop backend hosting & Azure IoT
Experience provisioning and managing Azure VPN Gateways, Azure Firewalls, VNET peering and Azure User Defined Routing.Understanding of on-premise to cloud connectivity using VPNs & Azure Express RoutesUnderstanding of L2/L3 networking fundamentalsExperience with managing & monitoring cloud-based infrastructure, security, and application environments

Contributes to completion of specific engineering programs and projectsDevelops solutions to a variety of complex engineering problemsPerform complex systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the endOversees complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management toolsPerforms complex systems modeling, simulation, and analysisPerforms continual maintenance and provides complex solutions for security, backup, and redundancy problemsPrepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projectsMaintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technologyMay coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionalsMay serve as a team or task lead
