The beautiful and iconic Hilton Chicago is looking for a Senior Banquet Set Up Manager to join their amazing team. We are a meeting and event powerhouse of 1,544 guest rooms and 234,000 square feet of event space, which is the largest in Chicago!

The Senior Banquet Set-up Floor Manager is responsible for the daily planning and inspection of meetings/banquets set up to ensure that they are properly set and on schedule. Specific tasks:

\n\nOversees each shift, provides instructions of room set up and client requirements including review of event orders, resumes and files.\nAssists in hiring, conducting performance and issuance of discipline\nOversees each assigned shift providing instructions of room set up and client requirements including review of event orders, resumes and files.\nSupervises Banquet Housepersons with set up to ensure compliance with banquet event specifications\nOversees a variety of Banquet Houseperson tasks including, but not limited to, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning/waxing floors, removing and disposing of trash\nGreets clients and responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner – with any additions or changes that need to take place with the set up of banquet space\nSets pars, inventory and orders department supplies\nReviews meeting planner survey comments and shares it with Team Members\nIn collaboration with other leaders, makes weekly  Team Member schedule\nAttends and lead Production & Planning Meeting with temporary staff\nAttends Labor management system weekly payroll meetings\nEstablishes and maintains positive working relationship with subcontractors\nMaintains cleaning schedule of event space to ensure rooms are presentable at all times\n\n
