How you make a difference

The Senior Benefits Analyst is responsible for overseeing the administration of retirement and health and welfare employee benefit programs. They compile and analyze data related to plan financials, providing strategic benefits planning and evaluation. Acting as a liaison with providers, the analyst presents benefits analysis to management, facilitates business planning, interprets benefit programs, and engages in discussions regarding compliance and technical interpretive data with relevant stakeholders such as benefit counsel, third-party vendors, actuaries, or consultants.



Key Responsibilities Monitors and ensures compliance with plan provisions and government requirements, overseeing eligibility, limitations, and restrictions of plan participations.Develops and implements efficient business processes for accurate and timely enrollment of team members in benefit plans.Manages data for government compliance activities, audits, employee mailings, vendor billings, and reporting, ensuring consistency and accuracy of benefit-related information.Collaborates with various teams, including payroll, finance, HRIS, and integration, to ensure plan and regulatory compliance.Oversees benefits enrollment system configuration, coordinates 401(k) audits, reviews benefit-related data issues, and contributes to department implementations and future projects.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or closely related field. Master’s degree in business or related field is preferred.

Experience

Minimum of five years’ experience in Human Resources field with emphasis on Benefits Administration.Expert in ExcelBenefit plan compliance strongly preferred.
