Senior Benefits Analyst Location US-CT-West Hartford # Positions 1 Experience (Years) 5 Category Human Resources Position Description At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Benefits Analyst to join the Legrand Corporate Team in West Hartford, CT. Responsible for supporting employees, managers and HR in the administration, communication, customer service, compliance and project management related to Legrand’s benefit programs. What Will You Do?Administer and communicate employee benefit programs, including health, welfare and retirement plans.Recommend plan design changes, manage their implementation, draft communications, develop procedures, define system requirements and train HR.Provide support to employees and HR in responding to benefits questions. Train team members on resolving complex inquiries and provide escalation support regarding benefits, policies and processes.Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations, including maintenance of plan documents and summary plan descriptions.Oversee the implementation of a benefits administration system as well as annual benefits enrollment, acquisition integrations, 401(k) mergers, leaves administration and HR strategic projects.Manage vendor relationships.Facilitate problem solving and process improvements to ensure excellent customer service and accurate, efficient and effective processes.Cross train on compensation processes.Perform other related duties as required.

 

Qualifications Education:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceCompletion of any related exams (e.g., Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), World at Work, actuarial) is a plusExperience:Minimum 5 years of experience in benefits administrationExperience with defined benefit plans or benefits administration systems implementations is a plusSkills/Knowledge/Abilities:In-depth knowledge of health, welfare and retirement plans, including regulations and compliance requirements related to benefits and leaves of absenceExcellent project management, process improvement, training and presentation skills Exceptional people skills: ability to manage vendors, influence stakeholders and interact with employees at all levels in a professional and thoughtful mannerDetail-oriented and analytical problem-solver; able to run reports, analyze data and make recommendations on the flyAbility to prioritize work and effectively managing multiple projects while handling a high volume of transactions, questions and requests in a fast-paced, complex environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly collaborative and works well within a teamStrong computer skills: proficient with MS Word and PowerPoint and mastery in ExcelExperience with Dayforce and Oracle is a plus
