Job Title: Senior Bridge Engineer

Location: VA, NYC, or CT

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bridge Design Engineer and Project Manager to join a team that supports MTA, DOT, and DDC projects in the Northeast. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bridge design and project management, with the ability to oversee multiple projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage bridge design projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, budget, and timeline requirements.Develop and review engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates for bridge projects.Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met.Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with design standards.Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and technical documentation.Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical expertise and support.Stay updated with industry trends, standards, and best practices in bridge engineering and project management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.Professional Engineer (PE) license required.Minimum of 7 years of experience in bridge design and project management.Proficiency in bridge design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD.Pro).Strong knowledge of AASHTO Bridge Design Specifications.Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Willingness to travel to Connecticut on a monthly basis.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $200000.00
