The Business Analyst plays a critical role in leveraging data analytics to drive strategic decision-making and enhance sales performance within the Operations team. In this position, you will collaborate closely with Sales and Support leadership teams and Operations to maintain data integrity, develop analytical capabilities, and provide valuable insights. Your primary responsibilities will include refining operational processes, analyzing sales data, and predicting sales trends.
As a Business Analyst, you will have the opportunity to:
Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements to boost sales efficiency
Offer actionable insights to enhance sales effectiveness
Contribute to the formulation of sales plans and objectives
Leverage cutting-edge reporting and BI technologies to elevate reporting quality
Data Analysis:
Leverage advanced analytical methods to evaluate sales data and identify sales trends.
Identify correlations and causations in data to recommend data-driven strategies for sales growth.
Conduct data cleansing and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of analysis results.
Reporting:
Design and generate customized reports and dashboards using BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Track key performance metrics, sales pipeline progression, and goal attainment for sales teams.
Present findings and insights in clear, concise reports for stakeholders at various organizational levels.
Sales Strategy:
Partner with the products and sales enablement teams around pricing strategies, sales channels, and market segments to optimize revenue generation.
Evaluate sales performance against targets and recommend adjustments to sales strategies as needed.
Data Visualization:
Create compelling visualizations, graphs, and charts to present complex sales data in a visually appealing and easy-to-understand format.
Use data visualization tools to create interactive dashboards for real-time monitoring of sales performance.
Incorporate storytelling techniques into data visualizations to convey meaningful insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on goals, share insights, and coordinate sales strategies.
Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure data-driven decision-making across departments.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to translate data analysis into actionable insights and recommendations.

This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.
