Senior Business Analyst
Description Apply Now Open sharing options Save Saved Share We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst for Reporting and Analytics role in the Advisor Business Development Group (ABDG). The role will be primarily focused on the transition from excel reports to Power BI and automate the current reports using Python or Data Lake. Role will also require understanding the data, providing ad-hoc analysis and work on regular reports.

Key Responsibilities

Understand the business processes and the interdependencies of various systems.Process multiple reports within defined turnaround time (TAT) and perform quality checks to ensure high accuracyMaintain existing scripts & incorporate changes whenever required. Maintain documentation of all processes/reports being created.Manage/Improve controls and validations of assigned activities.Transform complex data sets/existing reports into elegant end-user reporting using Power BI.Perform and deliver on ad-hoc business analysis on large data set based on business requests.Explore opportunities to drive efficiency in operations by automating reports/processes, simplification/elimination of redundant activities.Providing support to existing flows/scripts and creating new one as per business requirement.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Analytics, MIS, or related field. Strong academic background with good analytical and problem-solving skills. 4-6 years of related experience in data management and reporting. Minimum 2 years of experience in Power BI/ Advance DAX functions and Dashboard designing. Advanced skills in writing complex queries, developing reports and automation of report distribution. Experience in documenting business and technical processes. Self-motivated, ability to work independently and in a team environment. High sense of urgency and ability to adapt to a changing environment. Strong oral and written communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications

1-2 years’ experience in Python or any other programming language will be plus. Knowledge of using Salesforce is a plus.
