Senior Business Analyst
**Job Description** The Business Associate (BA) is an intermediate level position responsible for the execution support of the overall Banking & International strategy for the Citi Germany Franchise. These tasks include the support of the respective Banking businesses (Investment Banking, Corporate Banking and Commercial Banking) with regard to internal review of performance metrics, key risk indicators, data quality & integrity, issue management, coordination of audits, outsourcing governance, preparation of internal and legal entity performance review decks, and various projects in support of delivering Citi Germany’s client strategy. The BA also supports ad hoc projects as requested. The BA interfaces with the global functions Finance, Legal, Compliance, IT, Risk Management, Corporate Communication and HR, and closely interact with the local senior management team. A successful candidate will have the ability to easily handle a variety of tasks covering governance, business, and franchise related matters as support to both Citi Germany’s Banking and International businesses. The role offers exposure to the full spectrum of activities of Citi Germany including access to senior level leaders and exposure to the full breadth of activities of the German Citi franchise. The individual will report to the Citi Germany and Austria Sub-Cluster Country Officer & Banking Head (CCOBH). **Responsibilities:** + Creation of governance and board reporting materials at the business, franchise, regional and global level depending on the ask of the CCOBH + Management of Banking quarterly business reviews, revenue reporting, pipeline management, scorecard, client and wallet data analysis and participation in monthly Banking team meetings + Preparation of internal and external senior level franchise visits and events + Leading franchise owned projects (including but not limited to townhalls, charitable initiatives, VOE actions, succession planning, and other ad hoc franchise related concerns) + Manage outsourcing governance within the Banking and International businesses including identification, evaluation and monitoring of all outsourcing relationships, participation in outsourcing governance forum and ongoing contribution to audit management on arrangements + Oversee issue remediation tasks attributed to the Banking and International businesses or otherwise owned by the CCOBH + Timely escalation of risks or events stemming from Germany’s Banking and International businesses using Citi’s Global Escalation Platform + Management of the budgeting process and strategic planning: budget planning and control for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations + Management of expense/cost approval requests for budget reports incl. analysis of monthly department reports to maintain expenditure controls + Complete compliance related testing and reporting concerning new regulations, regulation changes and internal policies for activities under the remittance of the CCOBH + Collaborate with the Citi Global teams which may include conference calls with the headquarters in US time zones **Requirements:** + Advanced MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Outook, Teams) and Tableau expertise including demonstrated capabilities with pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, and formulas + Experience with project management, databases and information management, preferably within a financial services firm + Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills + Full business level proficiency in English in reading, writing, speaking and listening is required; German language proficiency is strongly preferred + Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience + Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to present ideas to audiences at all levels internally and externally + Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization, effectively communicate with key stakeholders, and navigate high-profile interactions with confidence and professionalism. + Demonstrated track record of collaboration across multiple, disparate internal business groups + Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities across teams and work effectively under pressure in a rapidly changing environment + Strategic agility, prioritization and time management are a must This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
