Responsibilities of this role
This role will provide the candidate an opportunity to work as part of a global Business Analyst group spanning multiple Agile Product Delivery teams. Specifically, this role is focussed on our new global Claims Management product – delivering a web-based solution that supports global claims handling teams to manage claims for commercial clients, from notification of loss through to settlement including business intelligence and client advocacy. The solution will be built on an industry-leading 3rd party low-code platform and integrated into our Commercial Risk ecosystem. The role will support the definition of requirements and data mappings required to support the delivery and migration of claims from various countries and practice groups into the new platform.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
+ Capturing process flows across the value chain of claims management, from notification of loss through to settlement and payment, including client advocacy.
+ Early assessment of new requirements, defining the impact from a functional and data perspective within our claims management system and broader ecosystem
+ Co-leading Agile ceremonies to groom requirements and define features to user story level, to successfully deliver a globally scalable solution on an industry-leading low-code platform.
+ Documenting requirements and processes to support the definition of work for application developers and data professionals.
+ Define business processes and models to support the management of claims-specific reference and transactional data.
+ Actively engaging in SDLC from UX and UI through to integration with backend Domain APIs, Data Marts and Corporate Systems
+ Directly responsible for UI and data mapping within an Agile sprint, and enabling data migration from old to new data stores as part of strategic system migrations.
+ Manage traceability of requirements and delivery against acceptance criteria within an Agile sprint, supported by quality team.
+ Serving as a liaison and point of escalation for business colleagues in-field.
+ Taking personal responsibility for completion of and delivery to requirements.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
+ 5+ years experience in similar Business Analyst role, with specific focus on commercial risk insurance and/or claims.
+ Strong experience overseeing requirements for Agile Scrum delivery teams
+ Experience in BPMN process mapping, data flow modelling, decisions trees etc.
+ Familiarity with UX/UI from persona design to user journey mapping, wireframing etc.
+ Good data literacy. Experience in data profiling, mapping and general data analysis.
+ Familiarity with delivery in workflow or low-code platforms is a plus e.g. Appian, Pega, UiPath, Power Automate.
+ College degree in Business Analysis, Information Systems or related discipline.
