Senior Business Analyst - Digital Transformation
Overview:  

Serves as senior business analyst of custom and vendor digital products, including Solvas, for our rapidly growing Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) business. This position involves working closely with product managers, researchers, UX designers, engineers, and business stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to analyze, document, and optimize digital systems that support CLO operations, reporting, compliance, and payments. 

Primary Responsibilities:  Collaborate with CLO stakeholders and SMEs to define business requirements for new features and enhancements to the technology platform.Create clear user stories, use cases, process maps, and workflow diagrams to articulate current state and future state flows and solutions.Work closely with development teams to design, test, and implement digital solutions that align with business requirements.Support system integration efforts between CLO platforms and internal and external data sources.Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), gather feedback from users, and track issues through resolution.Support audit and compliance efforts by ensuring proper documentation and validation of system changes.Adhere to applicable compliance/operational risk controls in accordance with Company or regulatory standards and policies.Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.Complete other related duties as assigned.

Experience and Education Required:

Bachelors and a minimum of 3 years related business line or technology experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 7 years higher education and/or work experience.

Experience and Education Preferred:

Financial services and bank loan industry experience, including exposure to Solvas, broadly syndicated, private credit, and / or distressed bank loansPrior experience prioritizing across competing priorities and quickly-changing landscapeKnowledge of product design and development best practicesKnowledge of Agile and Lean principles and practicesStrong verbal and written communication skills

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $66,979.45 - $111,632.42 Annual (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
