Responsibilities

As a key member of the Healthcare Data Intelligence (HDI) team within the Ascension Data Sciences Institute (ADSI), you will have the opportunity to interpret and manage clinical data from multiple sources which will drive analytics or other statistical reports. We aspire for this role to function as a conduit between analytic and technical teams to help guide the use of available clinical data, and to determine the appropriateness and ability of clinical data to meet customer requirements.

 

Responsibilities:

Manages and interprets a wide variety of clinical or EHR based dataFormulates and helps to define the scope or format of reportsUses clinical knowledge, background, or experience to guide analytic needsCompiles clinical data to meet customer requirements or analytic needsWork with members of technical teams to determine data availability, robustness, and fitness for releaseIdentifies trends within data and makes recommendations for quality improvement
Requirements

Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Additional Preferences 3 years of experience preferredBachelor's or Master’s Degree in clinical field (Nursing)Healthcare experience including hospital, clinic, or public healthData analysis experienceExperience with Google Cloud Platform or other cloud computing environmentPrevious clinical/EHR data experienceProficiency (or familiarity) with SQL or other data manipulation languageStrong written and verbal communication skills
