JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior IT Business Analyst SAP will provide process and system support to our internal Behr customers in various countries and also provide leadership/mentorship to Junior ITBAs and ITBAs.This individual will work closely with Business Analysts in the US and India across functional areas and partner with the business to aid functional users and act as liaison between the business and technical teams. This includes gathering business requirements, translating them into functional requirements, recommending and implementing solutions by configuring SAP and working with ABAP developers and other technical teams to meet ongoing business needs. Must be ready and able to work flexible hours as needed.PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Troubleshooting SAP system issues reported by the business users via Service Now Incidents and providing resolutionsWork closely and effectively with other ITBAs (US and India) and business users among all functional areas and levels of managementDay to day support of departmental functions for the SD and LE (Logistics Execution) modules; evaluate system requirements and implement solutions; configure, modify and coordinate testing specifically around Master Data Management, Order Management, Handling Unit Management, Transportation (Shipment & SCD).Create and provide quality training material and deliver training for user assistance and system usage.Work closely with the development team to ensure a timely solution according to the specifications and implementation of business needs.Researching and monitoring EDI related issues for sales orders, invoices and ASNsWork in collaboration with business and other IT staff to translate business requirements into functional specifications. Produce appropriate documentation and actively participate in the development of technical and workflow solutions.Lead & support projects utilizing different Integration tools & technologies.Strong cross-functional experience working with SAP Warehouse Management, Material Management & Finance.ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: (Overall experience and years of experience in particular skill)
Bachelor’s degree required in computer science, business, or related field8-9 years functional SAP experience in Order to Cash and LE (Logistics Execution) processes with knowledge of MM, WM, and FI processesExperience working with EDI message types 850, 856, 810, 210, 753, 754, 864Proven understanding of the software development lifecycle and methodologies, as well as the specific requirements for maintaining systems in a regulated environmentProven ability to manage & lead medium to large size SAP projectsE-Commerce / Web Portal project experience a plusExperience with SAP S/4HANA Transportation ManagementPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Good written & verbal Communication skillsKnowledge of general business processes and functions, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Ability to plan and manage projects and activities related to ERP systemsAbility to establish effective interpersonal relationsExcellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organizationTime management skills & organizational skills including multi-taking and prioritize workloadNice-To-Have
