Job Description

The Didipio mine is located on Luzon Island in the Philippines and is the Company’s only asset that produces both gold and copper. Didipio was built by OceanaGold in 2013 and operates fully as underground mine, with over 800 employees that support the mine.

This position is based in the OGPI office in Makati on a Monday – Friday schedule and may require occasional travel to the Didipio mine site to collaborate with local teams and ensure procurement processes are running smoothly on-site. You will work closely with cross-functional departments, including Supply Chain, Logistics, and Finance, to monitor and improve procurement activities. Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills, combined with a thorough understanding of procurement processes, will be essential to succeed in this role

Key accountabilities:

Analyse inventory turnover and use, reviewing material master data including holding quantities of stock itemsGather, analyse, and report on procurement data, trends, and compliance to support continuous improvement within the Pronto processes.Identify opportunities for inventory optimisation, including substitution, consolidation and SKU reductions to maximise meeting the operational business needs and warehouse storage space.Support the site based Supply Chain team and Superintendent – Supply Chain to identify goods and contract opportunities and pursue implementation of improvements.Partner with and support the site Maintenance planners to properly catalogue, record master data and optimise purchasing of required parts inventory.Ensure alignment with procurement policies and drive optimization of supply chain processes.Contribute to operational success by supporting data-driven decision-making and enhancing overall procurement performance.

QualificationsQualifications in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related fields.5+ years of experience as a procurement/supply chain analyst, ideally within the mining industry.Strong understanding of end to end supply chain, procurement and commercial principles. Self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities and work autonomously with a remote manager.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building successful relationships and collaborating on complex projects.Ability to manage competing deadlines and work effectively under tight timeframes.Commercially astute with strong financial comprehension of procurement impacts and the ability to present data analysis effectively.
