Senior Business Application Analyst
Business Application Analyst Sr. Senior Business Application Analyst The Senior Business Application Analyst role is responsible for supporting the Credit organization through the development, enhancement, maintenance, and support of Credit applications/systems (including nCino/Salesforce and CreditLens). The role will become a subject matter expert who provides detailed business requirements to develop fixes and new enhancements for the Credit Applications. The role sees Credit projects through to completion, facilitating all project activities. The role works closely with the developers of Credit applications and serves as a Product SME for Credit applications. The Senior Business Application Analyst works closely with Credit leaders and is responsible for managing project priorities. Position Responsibilities: * Facilitates cross-team discussions with Credit colleagues and other Comerica departments to determine project scope, perform gap analysis, and identify business requirements. * Produces and/or provides input on business requirements to develop solutions to business needs that result from policy/process changes, audit/compliance/risk findings, or new/updated Credit applications. * Converts business requirements into end solutions. * Manages and prioritizes a portfolio of projects for Credit business units. * Manages projects end to end, including development of project timelines, facilitation of project meetings, and coordination of project deliverables. * Researches and recommends system functionalities for business requirements or process enhancements. * Works closely with the Credit Compliance team to ensure compliance with Change Management Risk Governance for all new and enhanced processes. * Works closely with application/system developers to develop end solutions per documented business requirements. * Coordinates testing efforts related to business requirements and use case scenarios. * Coordinates Change Management needs on new/updated Credit applications/processes, liaising with internal Credit Solutions colleagues and Talent Development as needed. * Creates technical documentation for end solutions. * Works closely with the Credit Procedures team to ensure new/updated processes are properly documented. * Provides first line of support for users of Credit systems/applications. * Works with clients to develop process workflows that leverage Credit data. * Serves as system administrator to Credit systems/applications, facilitating updates/enhancements based on business need and/or alignment with corporate strategies. * Manages Third Party Risk Management activities for vendors of Credit systems/applications.
