Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Support all banking activities in the market to meet or exceed company initiatives. Work with all lines of business to meet and understand the needs of clients and prospects in the metro markets Ensure the market has a sales and service plans to maximize market opportunities, while implementing the strategy and sales processes from the lines of business. Meet CRA and Fair Lending targets by executing intentional action plans in the local community.  Provide consistent and persistent communication between the local team and lines of business Prepare and conduct annual evaluations of direct reports associates. Ensures market is adhering to compliance and operational procedures. Ensure all market leaders are engaged in business organizations, community events and/or non-profit organizations where one can be in a position to advance the reputation of the Bank. Develop a program with MMD for individual and group recognition and/or coaching to celebrate successes or address shortfalls in a positive team-oriented environment. Assists in the development and implementation of the bank policies and procedures and special projects.  Ensures all departmental documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures as applicable to this position, including completion of required compliance training. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, general business correspondence and/or journals or government regulations

Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial report and/or legal documents.

Ability to write routine reports and business correspondence and procedures

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, to customers, clients and other employees in the organization

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public

Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or boards of directors

Education and/or Experience  

A Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, related field, or relevant job experience is required. 

Advanced sales skills required.

Experience in the local market required for better understanding of the business environment and potential customer base.
