ADP is looking for a Senior Business Controller
This is a key role working closely with the Southern Europe (Italy and Iberia) business to provide financial analysis and commercial support to contribute to the Southern Europe Business success, ca. 130M revenues.
In this role you will be based in Milan, will report to the Regional CFO and manage a controlling specialist. The role is a key Finance Business Partner role to support the organisation to deliver all aspects of financial planning, analysis and business support to ensure that the Business achieves and exceeds on its objectives while following the Global strategy.
The Senior Business Controller will be a trusted partner and growth-orientated, thought leader, working closely with the CFO and Business to make decisions, drive initiatives and to run the business. He or she will challenge the status quo, provide deep, data-driven insights and will be a key player in formulating and executing on the strategy of the business unit.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Partner with Sales and other teams/stakeholders involved in business opportunities by providing financial and commercial support, balancing risks and leveraging opportunities Provide the business with commercial and financial expertise in all areas where required particularly with the pricing strategy, investment appraisal, product and client profitability, and deal structures Provide in-depth and consistent Business Insight to the Business through analytical reporting/dashboards, leveraging BI tools, while retrieving data from multiple sources, monitoring KPIs (retention, productivity, etc..) to support decision making process on investment, risk mitigation, corrective actions Ensure consistency and quality of the business insight across the region Develop and maintain robust mid to long term strategic planning models to assist the leadership team in making commercial decisions Manage and coordinate key processes such as forecasts, operating plans, periodic business reviews and strategic planning, acting on behalf of the CFO in some of them Challenge the status quo, and drive continuous improvement in the Finance department, and partnering with the BPI function in the rest of the organization Manage, coordinate and support the professional development of the controlling specialist Partner with the Head of Accounting and ensure a close working relationship is maintained with the Accounting teamSKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge required:
English and Italian Fluent – read / spoken / understood and written Spanish Professional Working – not required but preferred Excellent IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint). Power Bi development experience definitely a plus Strong experience with financial systems, including creating customized reports within FP&A reporting tools (Oracle and Hyperion experience preferred)Skills required:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Degree educated with strong academics, with emphasis in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration At least 10 years of work experience Prior experience in similar roles, in FP&A or Business Controlling, partnering especially with strong Sales functions Prior experience in working and influencing in a matrix organization#LI-LP2 #LI-Hybrid
