Role Summary:
The Strategy Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving strategic objectives by ensuring data integrity, conducting evaluations, and producing insightful reports. This role requires close collaboration with functional business partners and leaders to identify opportunities for profitable growth through strategic initiatives leveraging variance analysis and process control. Responsibilities include analyzing and evaluating price, product, market, and cost data to recommend effective strategies and corrective actions. Success in this role relies on the ability to build rapport and credibility with stakeholders across various organizational levels and take initiative in identifying and prioritizing solutions.
Responsibilities:
Extract data from ERP and other IT systems, ensuring high levels of accuracy.
Conduct data testing, cleaning, and normalization activities.
Deliver high-quality data reporting services.
Support data process leads in advancing KPI maturity roadmaps.
Work exclusively with standardized design format files and mapping templates.
Set up and manage a ticketing system to handle data processing service requests.
Complete data processing service requests within target lead-times.
Collaborate effectively as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Experience in data analysis or related activities.
Proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP), business intelligence tools (Power BI, BPC), and Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of SQL databases, data engineering, and analytics; Python programming and experience with machine learning are advantageous.
Understanding of financial and cost accounting practices.
Ability to act independently with minimal oversight and excel in open-ended problem-solving scenarios.
Proven ability to collaborate as part of a team and navigate ambiguous challenges.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, approximately 15%.
