Senior Business Development Manager – Industrial Underground
Description

Are you interested in an adventure helping us grow a specialty service line? STRUCTURAL works with industrial clients across the Gulf Coast and throughout the US to help them preserve and extend the life of existing infrastructure. We are currently looking for a new team member who’s an experienced business developer with an understanding of the industrial market and underground infrastructure. 

The role is highly collaborative and will include teaming with account managers in existing client sites and opening new doors where possible focused on underground infrastructure. This position is planned to be based out our Houston branch, however the person taking on the role will travel throughout the Gulf and nationally.  If you’re not a road warrior, this role probably isn’t a fit for you. 

If you join us, you’ll spend your time sharing our underground capabilities with clients focused on pipelines, water/storm water treatment, culverts, tunnels and all underground infrastructure.  STRUCTURAL has a wide range of capabilities for these structures including condition assessment and analysis support, options analysis, solution building, and field construction.  From maintenance to long term pipeline renewal, you’ll be equipped to have fun and do well helping industrial clients solve tough challenges.  

The duties of the role include:

Developing, maintaining, and expanding business relationships with industrial clients in the Gulf Coast and across the US Participating in sales meetings, sales calls, seminar facilitation, lunch & learns, trade shows, and other typical sales activities – all potentially including delivery of PPT presentations Proactively working with account managers and expanding the Company's relationships with clients focused on underground infrastructure Identifying opportunities and managing pursuit of projects and sales aimed at an annual sales goal Collaborating with internal teams including estimating, construction operations, technical support and management to develop and sell solutions

 Along with a desire to take on the role, we’re looking for candidates with:

Demonstrated track record of success in a sales role Bachelor’s Degree (those with this may be given preference) 5+ years of previous sales experience building relationships and expanding a client base in the industrial and/or underground market.  (those with both will be given preference) Working knowledge of underground structures (all types), condition assessment techniques, and repair and rehabilitation systems including cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) Desire to work in a highly collaborative environment including sales activity as a specialist working across existing accounts Ability to navigate in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and proficiency using PowerPoint Experience working in an environment where account and pursuit activity is managed in a CRM, preferably Salesforce
