Description: Defines and ensures the implementation of function related strategies and guidelines for company. Manages business development activities, aligns sales strategies and grows business opportunities and revenue from new and existing market segments and channels for the company.
This multifaceted role requires a goal-oriented person who can drive business growth, effectively manage government relations, and champion sustainability initiatives to enhance the company's organizational impact.
You’ll make an impact by:Acts as ultimate point of escalation and bridge to management in solving sales critical issues and problems.Evolves and maintains personal contacts to the major government officials and state own enterprises stakeholders May liaise with authorities and local legislative and executive branch government officials advising them of company concerns. Follows and drives agreed communication, information and training to strengthen sustainability awareness.Advices accountable management on sustainability aspects, with respect to relevant ratings, and on measures and programs to continuously improve the situation.Supports effectiveness of sales organizations via strategic initiatives / projects.Supports with the assigned organization an effective sales setup capitalizing synergies in collaboration within and across Siemens units (i.e. aligned setups, aligned processes, aligned incentives etc.).Performs analysis of strategic business segments, evaluates opportunities for new or existing Siemens products in new markets, channels or customer target groups.Manages market and business research programs as well as competitor analysis.Drives and monitors key business development programs.Defines and ensures the implementation of function related strategies, policies and guidelines, and/or defines operational activities enabling the exploitation of (vertical and product) markets; in line with the overall business strategy of the assigned organizational unit.
