Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, GPS Contracts

Government and public services (GPS) reporting and data dashboarding role required to support recurring US Government FAR/DFAR related regulatory reports, state and local government requirements and internal business stakeholder requests.

Work You’ll Do

This position will assist with multiple data, reporting and system requirements managed by the Business Intelligence Reporting and Analytics team within GPS Contracts Procurement & Operations (GCPO). This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can perform due diligence reviews of multiple data sets within internal and 3rd party systems, analyze this data and provide meaningful solutions to management.  

The individual will aggregate and analyze data to create reports, dashboards and decks that provide management with portfolio, operational and forecast insights that drive business decisions. The candidate will use advanced analytical and forensic skills to review data throughout the lifecycle of a contract and subcontract (pre-award, performance, closeout) and will participate in coordinated actions required in response to required reporting deliverables. This role will also be responsible for monitoring and tracking to completion all report requests, following up with stakeholders to closure and alerting management when issues arise. This position will also assist with issue resolution and rapid communications, working in partnership with other sub-teams within the GCPO Business Intelligence team structure (Systems Governance, Operations & Support, etc.)

The Team

The Business Intelligence Reporting and Analytics team resides within GPS Contracts Procurement & Operations (GCPO) and ensures all data and dashboard reporting requirements are executed successfully for both internal and external stakeholders. The team is centered on supporting US federal government, US state/local government, and higher education data, systems and regulatory obligations.

Qualifications

Required:

Minimum years of experience: 4 Years analytics and reporting experienceBachelor's degreeExperience working with MS Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, Cognos, other analytics platformsAbility to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. This may include overnight travelMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future 

Preferred 

Familiar with Government contracting agreement structures and filing requirementsComfortable using MS SharePoint and Teams as a content owner/providerFamiliarity with FAR, DFAR, and other supplementsDegree in public policy/administration, data analytics or related fieldStrong ability to work in a virtual team environment 

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.  The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current range is $69,400 to $127,900. 

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
