ADTRAV is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Developer that is a highly motivated developer, is excited about leading the design and implementation of robust BI solutions and that enjoys working in a team-oriented environment where those contributions are valued, make a difference, and are rewarded.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: 

Lead the design and implementation of robust BI solutions, including reports, dashboards, and data visualizations. Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data extraction and transformation. Implement and maintain data models, data warehouses, and OLAP cubes. Design and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to extract data from various sources, transform it according to business rules, and load it.Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across different systems and datasets.Work with relational databases to query and manipulate data.Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.Conduct advanced data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Develop data models and perform data mining as needed.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, software developers, and business stakeholders.Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to non-technical audiences.Stay up to date on new information technologies and emerging trends, and their possible application in the company. Work non-standard business hours to attend meetings and provide support via text/phone/email in a 24/7/365 environment.Represent ADTRAV by embracing the company values and maintaining effective working relationships with employees, partners, vendors, and clients. Adhere to company policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned.  

Qualifications:  

Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience required. 5+ years’ experience deploying production quality code. Experience using Python for data processing and with data-related Python packages.Deep understanding of SQL and analytical data warehouses; SQL Server preferred.Proficiency with analytical tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik, SSRS) and data visualization best practices.Experience implementing ETL or ELT best practices at scale. Strong data modeling skills and familiarity with the Data Vault and/or Star Schema. Experience with data pipeline tools such as Airflow, Luigi, Azkaban, Prefect, etc. Experience in Agile SDLC methodologies (Kanban and Scrum).Experience with source control such as Git or TFS.Experience with issue tracking systems such as Jira and Azure DevOps. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent English written and verbal communication skills. Highly self-motivated and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with varying deadlines.  Able to work in a fast-paced environment while balancing both strategic and tactical responsibilities.  Detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.“Can do” problem solving mentality, while still respecting standards, quality, and security.Desire to continually keep up with advancements in data engineering and improve product quality, security, and performance.Able to present a professional and positive demeanor with internal and external customers/clients and work cooperatively. Ability to work remotely and meet the company home-office requirements.  Able to maintain confidentiality of company and client information. Able to work outside of normal business hours and provide 24/7/365 support to team. Able to successfully pass a credit, criminal, and/or employment reference background check.
