Growing together.** This position is a critical function within Optum Technology as it is the execution arm for all consumer outreach which include but is not limited to Direct Mail, Email, SMS Texting, Outbound Calls, Web Visits and Real-Time Offer Management. This position is part of the operations team with a focus on auditing and monitoring content of data on the Marketing Data Platform (MDP) and related Identity Management (IDM) processing. The role conducts deep dives into the content and quality of data which will support journeys, analytics and modeling. The data quality monitoring is also critical to maintaining regulatory compliance for programs such as Member Outreach, CMS STARS Ratings, Member Retention Communications, Member Plan Migrations and Acquisition marketing, such as the Medicare Annual Open Enrollment. The **Senior Business Systems Analyst** is responsible for data processing operations for the MDP. These activities include auditing daily processing activities, managing data acquisition, and providing support of database enhancements and system development projects. This individual participates in requirements definition, benefits analysis, user acceptance testing, and technical strategy definition. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. **Primary Responsibilities:** + Conducts deep dives into the content & quality of data which will support journeys, analytics and modeling + Predicts emerging customer needs and develops innovative solutions to meet them + Solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business + Participates in the development of business strategy + Translates highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences + Innovates to discover/adopt new ideas, products, and/or approaches + Works with cross-functional and/or cross-segment teams You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. **Required Qualifications:** + High School Diploma/GED (or higher) + 3+ years of consumer marketing experience + 1+ years of experience with Azure, Databricks, DBeaver, Snowflake and direct marketing knowledge (campaigns, journeys, reports, modeling, compliance) + Intermediate level of proficiency in SQL + Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office + Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Access **Preferred Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience + 3+ years of healthcare experience; understanding of the Federal Medicare and Retirement program preferred + User Acceptance Testing Experience + Experience with Business Intelligence Tools + Experience with non-relational databases + Experience with concepts involving identity management & golden records **Soft Skills and Desired Skillsets:** + Must be self-motivated, goal oriented, and able to work with ambiguity and confidentiality + Critical systems thinking skills required, including the ability to comprehend complex business problems quickly + Ability to prioritize, coordinates, and manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment + Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills + Excellent interpersonal skills *All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy. The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
